KUCHING - Picther Plant & Wild Orchid Centre

PITCHER PLANT & WILD ORCHID CENTRE

Our latest tourist attraction centre is situated right in the heart of Kota Sentosa (on 10th Mile Bazaar), about a kilometer away from our main office (MPP). Pitcher plant and wild orchid center display one part of our protected plants(Malaysia) and a number of those from our neighburing countries and regions. We have about 30 plus subspecies of pitcher plants(Nepenthes) ranging from our commonly known as Nepenthes ampullaria to hybrids by nature as Nepenthes x hookeriana(N.ampullaria x N.rafflesiana). Wild orchids from Angraecum eburneum, Dendrobium species, Zygopetalum species. Besides pitcher plants and wild orchids, we also have a collections of Platycerium superbum(staghorn ferns) and Asplenium nidus(Bird's nest).

Opening hours:- Tuesday to Sunday (Public Holiday & Rest days inclusive)
*Closed on Mondays
