Shopping complexes and eating places are the busiest places in Kuching. Most shopping complexes close at 9:30 pm, but some eating places are open till late midnight and beyond. In the evening, Kuching is filled with colourful streetlights, enhancing the natural vigour and charm of this vibrant city and normally the hive of activity usually begins from 10 pm onwards.
